Overview
Kisspeptin neurons in the hypothalamic arcuate nucleus and anteroventral periventricular nucleus integrate metabolic, hormonal, and environmental signals to regulate the pulsatile release of GnRH from hypothalamic neurons, which in turn drives FSH and LH release from the pituitary.
